The Center for International Relations assumes its mission of substantiating and implementing the educational policies of "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia within the context of the expansion of the European and international academic space, by establishing some landmarks and dimensions of the academic education that preserve the local and national educational and cultural tradition and at the same time to overcome the geographical and political boundaries by affirming the cultural-identity values ​​(including linguistical ones) and by acceding to universal knowledge.

 

General objectives:

     a) The Center for International Relations carries out concrete actions of institutional promotion and information of the national and international academic community as well as of the local socio-professional community on the activities, actions, approaches and academic, research and professional consultancy achievements carried out by the university in accordance with the internationalization strategy approved by the University leadership.

     b) CRI contributes to the development of long-term institutional collaborations and partnerships with representatives of the national and international academic space, local and global social, economic and cultural environment.

CRI encourages and supports a collaborative and proactive culture in order to achieve the strategic objectives set by the management programme of "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia.

 

Specific objectives:

     a) Extending the international dimension of the research carried out at "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia;

     b) Developing the international dimension of the process of teaching / learning at "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia;

     c) Developing the intercultural and plurilingual dimension of "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia;

     d) Developing the international dimension of "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia in the socio-professional community;

     e) Increasing the international attractiveness of the educational offer of the University;

     Develop an efficient Public Relations service in the field of internationalization activities.
